Work Archives
Here I compiled most of the vital work that I have done during my Internship and college assignments.

Site Worker Daily Record Benchmark Rate
During my Internship, I was assigned to prepare the Benchmark Analysis Report to determine the daily labour output. This data is used to determine the efficiency rate of the site worker by calculating the Man days accumulated divided by the Quantity of work done that has been done. As an example, the construction of 500 Precast Lintel took about 333 Man Days to complete. As a result, the labour cost for 1 unit of the Precast Lintel will be about RM 45.86. To be honest, it was an unforgettable experiences to be able to handle this trade of work since it is not commonly taught in the syllabus.

Site Progress Update
Besides doing QS work in the office, I was also assigned to always check the quantity to always tally with progress at site. Commuting from Subang Jaya (Office) to Genting Highlands (Site) has been my weekly routine to meet the Engineers at site. This excel was used to update the quantity progress besides double checking the inspection report done by the Engineers. From this sheet, the overall progress of the building can be tracked which also helps to control the cost expenditure for this project.

-
Internal/External Floor Finishes
-
Internal/External Wall Finishes
-

Bill of Quantities
Same goes with the Taking-off Quantity Measurement, Bill of Quantities is the next step after the quantity of the building has been measured. In this sheet, the hardest part was to find the rightful description to every material. Working in a team of 6, the work has been distributed evenly

Cost Planning Guideline
Cost Plan is used to provide an estimate of what the actual costs are likely to be. This cost planning and control system are typically for buildings, that allows the cost of a system to be tracked during the construction of the design.
-
Firstly, is to establish a realistic first estimate (Preliminary Approximate Estimate)
-
Next is to determines how this budget will be divided among the various parts or elements of the project (Cost Plan)
-
lastly, the verification process to ensure that the actual design details for the various elements can be built within the budget (Cost Checking)
